Slow, smelly or backflowing? We clear it — and verify with a camera.
Most plumbers stop at “water flows now”. Tracenex finishes a drain job with a CCTV run so you know what caused the blockage and whether the line itself needs attention.
When to call us instead of pouring chemicals
Caustic drain chemicals often loosen a partial blockage but never address its cause — usually scale, food fats, hair mats, root intrusion or a partial pipe collapse. Within tropical homes those issues come back, often with a worse smell. Call Tracenex if you have:
- Two or more drain points failing at once (kitchen sink + downstairs WC, etc.).
- Gurgling sounds from another fixture when one is in use.
- Foul odour from grilles or floor traps that returns after every clean.
- Standing water in the rear lane gully or main inspection chamber.
- A grease-trap or commercial-kitchen line that has not been serviced in over six months.
Our clearing toolkit
- Mechanical auger — for hair, soap and food blockages within 8 m of the trap.
- High-pressure jetting — for fat, scale and root intrusion, up to 200-bar with rotating heads.
- Push-rod CCTV — for diagnosing root causes and recording the line condition after clearing.
- Locator wand — to mark the exact position of the blockage on the floor or wall before any excavation.
What you get at handover
A short job report with photos and a CCTV walkthrough video, a written 30-day re-clear guarantee, and a recommendation on whether the line needs structural repair or just routine biannual servicing.
Commercial grease traps
For F&B kitchens we operate scheduled grease-trap programmes — monthly or quarterly pump-out depending on cover size and trade volume. Each visit includes a printed compliance certificate suitable for DBKL inspections.
