Heated showers on time, every time — with the pipework done right.

Installing a heater is the easy part; getting the supply line, isolation valves and electrical bond correct is what keeps you safe and warranty-eligible.

Storage or instant — the honest comparison

For Malaysian flats with a single bathroom we usually recommend an instant heater for the convenience and lower up-front cost. Double-storey homes and serviced units with two or more wet areas almost always do better with a storage heater plus a small circulation pump — you save energy long-term and avoid the “cold first 30 seconds” problem.

Brands we install regularly

  • Joven — Malaysian heritage brand, easy spares, value option for instant heaters.
  • Rheem — reliable storage tanks, particularly for landed homes.
  • Ariston — mid-range storage with smart controls, EU-tested temperature stability.
  • 707 — budget-friendly instant heaters that still meet Malaysian DC safety standards.
  • Panasonic / Alpha — for clients that want minimalist faceplates and quiet operation.

The pipework that surrounds the heater

An unprofessional install often skips the isolation valve at the cold inlet, the expansion vessel for sealed storage tanks, or the electrical bonding for the metal frame. We include all of these as standard. Materials we routinely use:

  • Copper — for hot-water tails near the heater, lead-free soldered.
  • PEX-AL-PEX — for chase-buried supply runs with low thermal loss.
  • Stainless 304 — for exposed runs along utility walls when aesthetics matter.
  • WRAS-approved brass valves — for isolation, drain-down and pressure relief.

What we leave you with

A short demo of the heater controls, the manufacturer’s warranty card filled in, a Tracenex job report with photos and a two-year workmanship guarantee on the pipework. We also email a calendar reminder to drain-down the storage tank after six months — a fifteen-minute habit that extends the heater life by years.
