Privacy policy
Tracenex Plumbing & Roofing Sdn Bhd processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us to remove it.
What personal data we collect
When you submit a quote request, WhatsApp us a photo or email [email protected], we collect: your name, contact details (mobile, email), your job site address, and the description of the work you need done, including any photos you attach. We do not collect IC numbers, bank details or financial information on the website.
How we use it
We use your personal data only to: (a) reply to your enquiry; (b) issue a written quotation; (c) schedule and deliver agreed services; (d) issue invoices and warranty certificates; and (e) send periodic safety or maintenance reminders for clients who have explicitly opted in.
Where it is stored
Quote requests are stored in our internal job-management system hosted in Malaysia. Email correspondence is retained on Google Workspace. Photos are kept for the duration of any warranty plus 12 months, then deleted.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with: (i) sub-contractors verified by Tracenex when a job is referred to them; (ii) statutory authorities when required by law; (iii) insurers when a claim involves work we have delivered.
Your rights under PDPA
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to statutory retention obligations for invoicing and tax). Send your request to [email protected] with the subject line “PDPA request”.
