Terms & conditions
These terms govern any service you book with Tracenex Plumbing & Roofing Sdn Bhd. They are written in plain English on purpose — we will happily walk through any clause with you in person.
Scope of work
Every job is performed against a written quotation that itemises the labour, parts and any reinstatement work. Anything outside that scope is treated as a variation and quoted separately before being executed.
Pricing
Quoted prices are valid for thirty days. Where parts or specialist subcontractor rates change materially before work begins, we issue a revised quote rather than invoicing differently from what was agreed.
Payment terms
For jobs under RM 1,500 we issue a single invoice on completion, payable within seven days. For larger jobs (refits, waterproofing) we collect a 30 per cent mobilisation deposit, a 40 per cent progress invoice on substrate preparation and the 30 per cent balance on hand-over.
Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on plumbing fit-outs and a 60-month membrane warranty on PU and polymer waterproofing systems, in addition to the manufacturer’s product warranty. Warranty cover excludes damage from misuse, third-party modifications and force majeure events.
Cancellation & refund
You may cancel a booked job up to 24 hours before the scheduled start at no charge. Within 24 hours we retain a RM 150 mobilisation fee to cover crew planning. Refunds for deposit-bearing jobs follow the procedure in our return & refund policy.
Liability limits
Tracenex carries public liability insurance up to RM 1,000,000 per incident. Our total contractual liability is capped at the sum paid to us for the affected job, or RM 5,000, whichever is greater — except for liability that cannot be limited by Malaysian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Malaysian law. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Selangor.
